Beware the Contagion of Complaining

Acts 4:16-17
“What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. 17 But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.”

1. Lamb of God, we fall before Thee,
Humbly trusting in Thy Cross.
That alone be all our glory;
All things else are only dross.
2. Thee we own a perfect Savior,
Only Source of all that’s good.
Every grace and every favor
Comes to us through Jesus’ blood.
3. Jesus gives us true repentance
By His Spirit sent from heaven;
