Lance Meeting The Lance is our school yearbook. All are welcome to come help with on this year’s publication. We hope to see you at 12:45pm in AC121.

Crossroads will be having a first quarter art contest this year, and would like a lot of people to participate! The theme is SUMMER, so please submit something you think really shows what summer is all about. Submissions can be in the form of artwork, photographs, poems, and prose (if you have another medium that’s not on this list, talk to me please). Submissions will be handled a little differently than usual this year. If you were to paint a canvas, for example, we would like you to give us the canvas so that we can display it for people to see and vote on. Anything submitted digitally will be printed off and placed out as well (i.e. photographs, poems, etc…). Please submit the hard copy of your artwork to either me or Lydia Strike (you can put it in our lockers or give it to us in person). Any digital copies can be sent to crossroads@ilc.edu. Once the deadline hits, we will place all of the submissions out on a table in the AC for students and professors to vote on. If you have any questions, contact George Carstensen.
CC Report: Our Lancers faced another large field of 20 teams but cooler weather at Durand’s Rolling Greens. In spite of the hilly course, every one of our runners ran their best time of the season, and 6 of them set new personal bests: Micah Fossum, Blake Wales, Daniel Kloke, Sam Pfeiffer, George Carstensen, & Katie Kloke. Along with running his first time under 18 minutes, Micah also won a 5th place medal.
