Fall Festival: Come and join us for our Fall Festival at Messiah this Sunday, October 29, from 6:00-9:00pm. We will be having a cake/candy walk, making a fall craft, eating snacks around a bonfire, and playing capture the pumpkin outside. Please contact Val 715-577-2806 if you need a ride to Messiah. We would love to see you there!
Crossroads Drawing Contest: Attention all artists of any medium – pencil, charcoal, paint, crayon; and any level of expertise – expert, novice, stick-figure:
Crossroads is our online publication of creative content including artwork, literature, and photography. As stated on the ILC website: “The goal is to share the creative talents that the Lord has given to the students at Immanuel. Contributors are encouraged to focus their work on their faith.” Accordingly, we invite you to participate in the November 2023 Crossroads Drawing Contest. Your artwork may be any medium and of any appropriate subject matter. Once the artwork is complete, take a photograph of it with your cell phone, then email the photograph to Crossroads Editor Lily Lone at lilylone@ilc.edu. Your digital artwork must be received by Tuesday, November 28. Winners will be announced on Friday, December 1. First prize: $25, Second prize: $15, Third prize: $5. If you have any questions, please contact Lily Lone.
CC Report: Our cross-country team finished out the season at the WIAA Sectional meet at Cadott. While the windy conditions made for some slower times, all ran their hearts out, and our boys team place 6th. I believe we had the largest cheering section at the meet – THANK YOU fans for coming out to support our runners and enduring the cold!
Our top runner, Micah Fossum, is NOT done – he finished 4th overall, which means he qualified to run at the WIAA State Meet next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids! Complete results are available at https://pttiming.com/event. |
Volleyball Report: In a heartbreaking end to the season, the Lancer volleyball team fell to Columbus Catholic 0-3 (10-20, 20-25, 12-25). Stats Leaders: Audrey Arndt – 5 kills (1 block kill); Cheyenne Wales – 5 kills (2 block kills), 10 digs; Gabi Radichel – 10 kills (2 block kills); Hannah Kazemba – 13 digs; Leah Thompson – 2 aces, 11 assists; Sophia Carstensen – 8 kills (4 block kills), 7 assistsThe Lancers end their season with a 27-10 record. A special mention goes out to our seniors: Ava Williams, Hannah Kazemba, and Lydia Lau. We’ll miss you! Thank you to all our fans for your constant support and enthusiasm throughout the season too. We couldn’t have made it this far without you! |
