| Softball Report: The Lancers won big over the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves 9-0 on Tuesday. Rachel Kazemba stepped in the circle first. The starter surrendered 2 hits and zero runs over 7 innings, striking out 3 and walking 1. The Lancers had 12 hits in the game. Katie Kloke, Gabi Radichel, Kazemba, and Cheyenne Wales (one double) each collected two hits. Kloke went 2-for-4 at the plate (one double) and led the team with 3 RBIs. The team had seven walks for the game, Lydia Kloke getting 2 of them. The Lancers had four stolen bases, turned one double play, and didn’t commit a single error in the field. The Lancers play a double header on Thursday against Alma/Pepin and Independence/Gilmanton. These games will be played in Independence starting at 4:00 PM. PLEASE NO STORMS!! Record 7-6 (conf 6-5) |
| Baseball Report: In heartbreaking fashion, the Lancer baseball team suffered a 5-4 defeat in Plum City Tuesday. Leading 4-0 going into the final inning, the Lancers surrendered 5 runs, the 5th coming on a disputed play at the plate. It was a much better performance than the previous night. Weather permitting, the next game is scheduled for our home field on Thursday against Independence. Record: 6-9 (conf. 6-5) |
