Trunk or Treat – Messiah Lutheran Church is hosting its second Trunk or Treat event this year, and we are hoping you can help! We are looking for high school students to help us run games, decorate a trunk, serve snacks, and help with set up and clean up. The event went amazingly well because of all of the help we received from the Immanuel students last year. We are so excited to team up with you again to host this event. If you would like to help, please complete this form by October 10th!

XC Report – There wasn’t a cloud in the sky for our meet in Eleva-Strum on Thursday. Against a small field of 4 complete teams, our boys ran strong and came away with the first place trophy! Our girls also put in a great performance, but came up just short of winning – we were tied on points so it came down to the tie-breaking 6th runner, which we didn’t have. We had a record 10 runners earn medals: Dulton Eberhardt & Becky Noeldner (1st), Derek Wales (2nd), Simeon Schaller & Lydia Kloke (3rd), Katie Kloke (5th), Seth Bernthal (8th), Josh Pfeiffer (9th), Thomas Carstensen and Maggie Seibel (10th). We also had 10 runners set new season-best times today: Dulton, Derek, Simeon, Josh, Thomas, Jacob Schmid, Zander Johnson, Lydia, Katie, & Maggie. Complete results are posted at https://www.chickenchasetiming.com.
