For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

Student Paychecks for March are available at the office, and direct deposits should be in your account today:  We have a new payroll company, and we are currently printing the pay checks in the school office.  So, they do look a little different, and they do not have all the information printed on the check stub that your last check had.  If you would like to see the total hours that were on your time card or time sheet, please stop by the office and we will be happy to show you your time card or time sheet and the amount of hours that you worked.  In August, we will be encouraging student workers to make use of Direct Deposit to your bank accounts, if possible.

Join Pastor Daub after school Wed. Apr. 15 for Costco pizza and a Traveling VBS info session in the Commons Lounge.  He will reveal this summer’s locations and start pairing willing workers with exciting mission fields.  Both high school and college students are welcome.  Please come even if you have no intention of helping this summer but just want to learn more.  Let Ellie or Alek know if you plan on stopping by so we can be sure to have enough pizza.

Track Report – Our track team had its first competition of the year at Eleva-Strum against 6 Dairyland Schools. Our boys finished 5th, and the girls placed 3rd. Finishing in first place were Grace LeDuc (800M) and Tanner Havemeier (triple jump); in second were Evalin Hammett (long jump), Grace (400M), Maggie Seibel (1600M & 3200M), Josh Pfeiffer (3200M), and our girls 4×100 team: Evalin, Alex & Becky Noeldner, and Gwyneth Gurgel. Taking third place in their events were Ashtyn Barthels (Discus), Gwyneth (200M & 400M), Evalin (100M), Becky (100 hurdles), Margaret Schaller (800M), Dulton Eberhardt (800M), Tanner (100M), and William Sydow (1600M).
Even though it was our first meet of the year (and only our second time on a track), we had a number of athletes set new personal records (PRs): Ashtyn (discus & shot put), Alex (100 hurdles & 200M), Margaret (100 hurdles), Jordyn Schierenbeck (100M & 200M), Thomas Carstensen (400M & triple jump), Carter Martin (shot put), Josh Pfeiffer (3200M), and Tanner (100M & triple jump). Tanner’s mark in the triple also set a new school record, beating out Jesse Cornishes mark from just last year.
