Volleyball Report: In our last home volleyball conference match of the season, we celebrated Senior Night and honored the seniors in our fall sports. Cross Country: Laura Schaller, Christian Koenig, and Micah Fossum The volleyball team faced Augusta and won 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-14). Stats Leaders: Audrey Arndt: 9 kills (1 block kill); Ava Williams: 1 ace, 1 kill, 5 digs (and a surprising amount of power on her serve that she reserved for Senior Night); Cheyenne Wales: 23/23 serving, 5 aces, 4 kills, 6 digs; Gabi Radichel: 9 kills; Hannah Kazemba: 11/12 serving, 1 ace, 1 kill, 12 digs; Leah Thompson: 10 assists; Lydia Lau: 10/10 serving, 2 kills, 6 digs; Sophia Carstensen: 7 kills (3 block kills), 17 assists, 7 digs This win guarantees that the Lancers will at least share the Dairyland Conference title, marking the 4th year in a row of that accomplishment. A win at Independence on Thursday will give the Lancers the outright title. Last night’s win was also the team’s 46th consecutive conference win! |
