Activity Meetings – the first meetings of the year! Thursday will be an Activities Committee meeting in AC Room 111 @ 6:30 PM, and Leave it Better will have a meeting on Friday at 5 PM in AC Room 111. For the juniors, Banquet Committee is meeting on Thursday at 12:30, in the biology classroom. Feel free to go check them out, just because you go to the first meeting does not mean you are committed to the whole year! They are fun ways to get involved and spend worthwhile time with your fellow students.
Class Meetings 7th Hour Today – High school students, in place of 7th hour Choir and/or Study Hall this Thursday, we will have initial class meetings (attendance required). Exception: If you have a piano lesson, please attend your lesson.
Room assignments are: 9th Grade – Room 121 with Prof Weis, 10th Grade – Room 122 with Prof Lau, 11th Grade – Room 120 with Prof Thurow, 12th Grade – Room 123 with Prof Gullerud.
High School Add Deadline: This Friday (8/29) is that last day to ADD an elective. If you currently have only 3 electives, you will not be able to drop an elective unless you add one before this deadline. Please talk to Prof. J. Schierenbeck today if you are considering a course add or if you have any questions or concerns about your elective choices.

Volunteers needed! – Helpers are needed on Sat./Sun. September 6-7 at the Cleghorn Harvest Festival. Help is wanted to supervise games and bouncy houses, and hand out candy. Please email Jason Vieth at countrysservices@gmail.com if you can help and/or would like more information!
Friends of The Immanuel Forest – Volunteer effort – Volunteers are being sought to kick off a new effort at Immanuel Lutheran campus to improve the health of the forested areas on the property. September 13-14, 2025 is the first scheduled event for this effort, and will focus on removing undesirable species along the forest’s trail system. If you have an interest in helping, additional information and contacts for this effort can found by going to the attached URL link or by just using your smartphone to snap a pic of the QR code. Project leaders feel we’ll need at least 10-12 volunteers to make the effort work on September 13-14, 2025. Your consideration is appreciated.
