For at the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly. It is rare indeed that someone will die for a righteous person. Perhaps someone might actually go so far as to die for a person who has been good to him. But God shows his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:6-8

Volleyball practice times are switched today for varsity and JV. This will happen on Mondays, so please keep your eye on the schedule (linked below)!
Today’s soccer game vs AYSO begins at 6:00pm at Eau Claire Soccer Park #1 (3456 Craig Rd). Players should be ready to leave in the van at 5:30pm. It will be a beautiful day! Fans who would like to walk over to watch can see a walking route on the bulletin board outside of AC134.
Tuesday is your last day to drop an elective class. You must have permissions from parents and Prof. Gullerud. Talk to him first.
In His Word college-aged Bible study group meets tomorrow night at 9:00pm in the Davies Center on the UWEC campus. (Go down State Street hill, take a left onto Roosevelt Ave, the road wraps left and then right into the Phillips Lot.) We’ll find a quiet corner on the second level student lounge area. We’re continuing our character study of Hagar. Hope you can make it! – Pastor Schaller

Man Up! Permissions: If you are going to be missing school for Man Up! on Friday, please remember to fill out a Planned Absence form and get it turned in before you leave campus. Also, make sure your parents have sent permissions to the office and dorm parents as necessary, and that your driver is on your Transportation Permissions.

Volleyball Report: In an awesome day at the McDonell Tournament, our Varsity volleyball team took home GOLD, going 5-0 on the day without losing a set! Every team in this tournament (including ours) was ranked in the Top 10 of Divisions 3, 4, or 5 in the latest Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll. Our team played hard all day against great competition and was able to earn more hardware for the season.

The Lancers are now 16-3 overall, 3-0 in conference on the season. We go on the road on Tuesday to face Alma/Pepin in a Dairyland Conference matchup.
