Game Night Schedule: Tonight we host our first home volleyball games! Because of that, the following afternoon schedule applies:
- Early study hall at 3:00pm.
- In-dorm chapels.
- Early supper at 4:45pm.
- Off-campus free night, with students back in the dorms by 9:50pm.
This will be the usual schedule on game nights, so it would be good to memorize. Also note that Pep Band plays and should be on stage ready to go at 6:30pm. See you at the game!
Last Chance! Tour Choir Auditions will resume again tomorrow (Friday) at 3:00pm. You can sign up for a specific time on the spreadsheet (https://bit.ly/tourchoir2023) or come during the walk-in time (beginning at 4:00pm) and wait for an opening. If you plan to walk-in, it would be helpful if you would tell me beforehand so I can make sure I stay around until I’ve heard you. –Prof. Schaller
Flag Football: Tomorrow we have Daniel Hein’s Black Beets vs Orrin Gessner’s Grey Galacticas at 3:15 pm. The second game at 4:15 pm will be Jonah Mueller’s Blue Battlestars vs Andrew Lau’s Pink Bears. Games will be played at Bollinger Field on the corner of Stein Blvd. and W. Hamilton Ave, one mile north of campus. Students may walk, bike, or catch a ride. (Remember to sign out!) Prof. Gullerud will be driving a school van, leaving from the flagpole at 3:00 pm, if you’d like a ride. Fans- bring a chair or blanket and enjoy some Friday afternoon flag football!
Movie Night this Friday in the gym. Avengers: Endgame will be the feature, starting at 7:30pm.
The Newcomer’s Party will be held next Friday (9/16) in the gym beginning at 7:00pm.

As a gentle reminder, the ILHS Handbook states the following:
“The consumption of food or beverages during chapel is prohibited. This includes when entering the gymnasium before chapel and when exiting the gymnasium after chapel.”
