Tour Choir Auditions This is the last day to audition for the tour choir. Any Voice: Today (9/8) beginning at 3:00pm. Prof. Schaller will stay until everyone who wants to audition has had a chance to do so. All auditions in Room 122. No appointment necessary. Just walk-in. The audition takes about 10 minutes. You will be asked to: 1. Repeat musical phrases that are played for you. 2. Sing a hymn verse of your choice in your voice part (accompanied) 3. Sing your voice part from the provided audition piece (unaccompanied) 4. Sight read a basic vocal line (unaccompanied). The audition piece is John Rutter’s “What Sweeter Music” (Measures 1-50). Copies are on the credenza by the office. Audition music does not need to be memorized.
Newcomer’s Party tonight! The new activities committee has come up with a fun evening including Freshman Gladiator, campus-wide Capture the Flag, a bunch of yard games & food, and a movie, Rio. They’ve worked hard to get this ready for you so we’re hoping everyone comes. See you at 7:45pm!

| CC Report: Our runners enjoyed the cooler weather for our meet at Stanley-Boyd, and even a little mist right before the start. Our top finishers were Micah Fossum in second place, Laura Schaller in 8th, and Katie Kloke just missed out on a medal at 11th place. Katie also set a new personal best, along with Logan Thompson, Mark Mayhew, Ian Levandoski, Josh Pfeiffer, Tyler Gallaher, and Alek Daub. Cross-Country meet this Saturday: Fall Creek is hosting the races on the north side of their high school. The JV and Varsity will run together with the boys race at 10:00, followed by the girls at 10:45. No admission fee, and concessions will be available.
C Team Tournament this Saturday: McDonell is hosting at Chi Hi in the back gym (enter under the cardinal). First match begins at 9:00am. This is a round robin format, and ILHS plays rounds 1,2,4,5, and 7. Concessions are not expected to be available.
Varsity Tournament this Saturday: Elmwood/Plum City is hosting (please park at the south end of the building by the Wolf Den gym). The first match begins at 8:30am, and the entry fee is $4 for adults, $3 for students. The day begins with pool play where ILHS plays matches 1, 3, and 6. This is followed by single elimination bracket play. Concessions will be available and carry-ins are not allowed.
