Volleyball Tournament in Eau Claire: If you would like to watch some Storm volleyball, head over to the Olson Addition in the McPhee Center on the UW upper campus this Sunday. Spectators should sit above the courts on the indoor track (bring a chair!). They are scheduled to play at 8:00 am., 9:50 am., and 12:20 pm. with bracket play in the afternoon beginning at 1:10 at the latest. Admission should be $3.
Student Workers: Your paychecks are waiting to be picked up in the office!
Picture Day: Lifetouch will be coming next Tuesday, February 4th to take basketball pictures. Every player will be photographed individually, regardless of whether you’re ordering that day or not. If you’d like to order pictures, please grab a flier off the credenza outside the office or follow the link below.

Fun Fact: Over the weekend Krzysztof Wierzbicki, a Polish world-renown weightlifter, deadlifted 400 kilograms at 97.1 kilos bodyweight (that’s 881.9lb at 214lb, for all us non-Europeans) On a stiff bar. Without wearing a weightlifting belt. Deadlifting over triple bodyweight without a lifting belt is relatively rare, and this man deadlifted 4.12 times his bodyweight without one — it’s about as raw as you can get. At this same event he also did a 672 lb. squat and a 418 lb. bench press!
