Youth Group Christmas Party: Please join us to celebrate our Christ’s birth! We will meet Friday, December 11th at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall at Messiah and begin with a devotion. The evening will include pizza, soda, and snacks, along with a white elephant gift exchange, cookie decorating, and your choice at one of two stations (to take home) – make a gnome, or a nativity. What is a white elephant gift, you may ask? A white elephant gift is an amusing, impractical gift. The goal is to be entertaining rather than to gain a genuinely valuable or highly sought-after item. Please bring $5 to help cover the costs of the evening, as well as your wrapped white elephant gift. Parents, please pick up your kids at 9:00 pm from Messiah. Please RSVP via our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/events/395125335139056), or to Pastor Schaller or Kari Behlmer, and feel free to contact Kari Behlmer (715-797-2570) with any questions.
Formal Dinner: This Saturday ~ The Formal Dinner is an opportunity for all to get together for a night of food, friends and fun while dressing up. The Faculty is excited to serve the food prepared by Chef Rodebaugh. The Activities Committee has found a way to carry on the tradition in the midst of the myriad restrictions in place. Hats off to them! Hope to see you all in the Commons for pictures at 5:45pm., with the evening festivities beginning in the Dining Hall at 6:00 pm.
Christmas Piano & Organ Recital: Make your way down to the gym on Sunday at 3:00 pm to enjoy pieces performed by this semester’s piano and organ students.
Copies of the Lutheran Spokesman are available in the office for students to pick up for free.
The Senior Art Class Christmas display is now up in the AC. This year’s project is Christmas trees. Teams chose a theme and made all the decorations to match their theme. Lots of hard work were put into the creations and we would love for you to take a look. You can also cast your vote for your favorite display! The ballot box is located next to room 114. Voting ends Dec 11. Remember to enjoy the art 6 feet apart.
