Cross Country Report: Conference Champs! Congratulations to our boys cross-country team on winning the Dairyland Conference championship – the first time since 2015! It was an all-around great team effort, with almost every single runner on our team (13 out of 14) posting their season-best times!
We had four runners earn all-conference honors: Micah Fossum – 1st place (and breaking 17 minutes for the first time), Logan Thompson – 5th, Dulton Eberhardt – 9th, and Laura Schaller – 9th. Special mention also to two of our runners who placed 11th, just barely missing out on all-conference awards: Christian Koenig (by 0.1 second) and Katie Kloke (crushed her best time by almost a minute). A special THANK YOU to all the fans who came out to cheer on our team today and all season, and helped celebrate our win! Your support means a lot to our runners, especially for those whose parents can’t be there because they live too far away. This was the last meet for our JV runners – our varsity will compete in the WIAA Sectional Meet at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Cadott on Oct 21. |
