Volleyball Report – In our final regular season home game this season, the Lancers defeated the Whitehall Norse in straight sets on Senior Night (25-19, 25-13, 25-15). It was an all-around efficient night, with our best team serving (97.3%) and hitting (.375) percentages this season.

Stats Leaders:
Emma Starland: 2 aces, 10 assists
Gabi Radichel: 5 aces, 12 kills, 20 digs
Grace LeDuc: 2 aces, 11 kills (1 block), 6 digs
Joanna Seibel: 7 digs
Kenzie Koenig: 4 kills (2 blocks)
Leah Thompson: 2 aces, 9 kills (1 block), 23 assists, 7 digs
Savannah Quade: 7 kills (2 blocks)

The Lancers are now 17-15 overall and 9-0 in conference. Tonight’s win secured that the Lancers will at least share the conference title this season. The team will travel to C-FC on Thursday for a chance to win the Dairyland Conference outright.

Before the match tonight, our senior fall season athletes were honored.
Volleyball: Grace LeDuc, Leah Thompson, Joanna Seibel, Gabi Radichel, and Kenzie Koenig, Maggie Sydow (bookkeeping), Grant Bernthal (broadcasting)
Cross Country: Dulton Eberhardt, Zander Johnson, Katie Kloke, Ian Levandoski, Becky Noeldner, and Sam Pfeiffer
Soccer: Grant Bernthal, Evalin Hammett, Becky Noeldner, and Michael Lang

Thank you, Seniors!

Soccer Report  – Playing back to back games with a 13-player roster was going to be a challenge, especially with wet conditions on the field, but the Lancers persevered in a 1-1 tie with Regis-McDonell Saints JV. In the first half, slippery conditions confounded GK Michael Lang as the Saints scored the first goal of the game and took a 1-0 lead into the second half. A goalie handball foul outside the box led to a GK change, with Thomas Carstensen taking over in the Lancer goal. But the switch helped turn momentum in favor of the Lancers, who kept the ball in the opponent’s end and finally scored the tying goal — Simeon Schaller’s fifth of the season as the result of some nice passing combinations inside the box. The Lancers go into their last game of the season this Friday with a record of 1 win, 2 draws, and 3 losses.
