School News 9/15/25
Monday, September 15th, 2025
Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the author of our faith and the one who brings it to its goal. In view of the joy set before him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of God’s throne. (Hebrews 12:2)

The Crossroads is Immanuel’s online publication of creative content, including artwork, photography, poems and prose. As stated online, the goal of the Crossroads is, “to share the talents that the Lord has given to the students at Immanuel.” (Feel free to check it out on the ILC website!). The Crossroads is hosting a Fall themed art contest from September 15 to October 15, 2025. You may submit photography or art of any medium, including watercolor, colored pencils, etc. so long as it is appropriate and glorifies God. Once your artwork is completed, please submit a picture of it to me at kathrose@ilc.edu. Artwork must be submitted by October 15. You may submit more than one entry, but please no duplicates. Winners will be announced on Monday, October 20. First place: $25, Second place: $15, Third place: $5. If you didn’t place in the top three, don’t worry! Everything you submit will be uploaded onto the Crossroads website!
Musical Announcement – MUSICAL CHANGE! My most humble apologies – we ran into streaming issues with Bugsy, and my mama heart thinks your parents at a distance will be super sad if they can’t see you online. We will be doing Enchanted Sleeping Beauty, so please check out the new cast list and synopsis and sign up on the credenza for auditions today and tomorrow! If you forget to sign up, it’s fine!! Come anyway! CC runners, we will get you through the process first so you’re not late, or come a little late to the 4:30. Remember to let us know if you want to help in any facet – the more the merrier! -Mrs. Rosendahl
Did you lose a pack of lunch tickets? – come to the office and we’ll see if we can reunite you.
Is this yours? – Not sure if it works anymore. Claim at office if yours. Otherwise it will be placed in the Office Lost and Found, with an abundance of other miscellaneous items.
School pictures next week! – Next Friday, September 26th, is our school picture day. Please come with a smile as these pictures will be used for student ID’s and the yearbook. More info to come as it gets closer.
XC Report – Our runners faced one of the toughest courses of the year in Fall Creek, and our boys cruised to a second place finish out of eight teams. After the boys race, the sun came out and heated things up quite a bit for the girls race, but our girls managed to place 5th. We had six runners earn medals: Dulton Eberhardt (3rd), Becky Noeldner (7th), Derek Wales (8th), Katie Kloke (11th), Lydia Kloke (12th), and Simeon Schaller (12th). Seth Bernthal barely missed out on a medal, coming in 16th. Complete results are available at https://pttiming.com/event.
