State Solo & Ensemble Festival: Immanuel’s students will be at the UWEC, using Centennial Hall for the vocal events and Haas Fine Arts Center for the instrumental events this Saturday. The two buildings are not on the same side of the river. Taking the footbridge to cross the river takes about 8 minutes–door to door. Driving and re-parking also takes about 8 minutes. Events are free and open to friends and family.
Students should be in their building 45 minutes before performing. Each building has an information table, so you can find the warm-up rooms and see where your site will be located. Please be outside your room 10 minutes before you perform. As with the district round, times may vary. Campus maps, driving directions, full schedule, etc. can be found here.

Track & Field Report: Today’s 5-team meet at Mondovi allowed “unlimited entries” – we could enter as many athletes in each event as we wanted. This is a great opportunity for kids to try something different, and 12 of our athletes competed in new events for the first time. It was another great day for personal records (PR’s) with 20 of our athletes (out of 27) setting new best marks, along with both of our 4×100 teams! PR’s today: William (1600M), Sam Pfeiffer (110 hurdles & 800M), Josh Pfeiffer (1600M), Carter Martin (shot put), Ian Levandoski (100M), Michael (100M), Tanner (100M, 200M, & triple jump), Tyler (200M), Dulton (1600M), Alek Daub (discus), Jesse (100M), Thomas Carstensen (400M & triple jump), Jordyn Schierenbeck (200M), Margaret Schaller (800M, high jump & long jump), Becky Noeldner (100 hurdles), Alex Noeldner (100 hurdles & 200M), Miley (shot put), Ashtyn (discus & shot put), and Audrey (100M).
