WORDS FROM OUR LORD FOR TODAY

Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior. – Habakkuk 3:17-18

State Solo & Ensemble: Two of our music students recorded instrumental solos and entered the Wisconsin State Music Association’s Virtual Solo and Ensemble event last week.  They received scores and comments.  Both played Class A (highest difficulty level for this event) pieces.  Joel Kuehne’s French Horn solo has been accepted to continue on at the state level (also virtual). Josie Naumann also submitted her flute solo, but scores were not available at the time of this posting.  The original festival was to have taken place in Fall Creek, WI on April 4 with 18 events from Immanuel registered. Looking forward to next year, everybody! ~ Mrs. Lau
