School News 10/3/25

Friday, October 3rd, 2025

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:11-12)

XC Report – It was another hot day for our meet at the Osseo Golf Course, but our runners took advantage of the flat terrain for some fast times. With the head coach gone, assistant Micah Fossum had to step up and take the reins. The boys came away with a second-place trophy out of 7 teams, while the girls finished 3rd out of 5 teams. Medalist today were Dulton Eberhardt & Becky Noeldner (6th), Simeon Schaller (9th), Derek Wales (10th), Lydia Kloke (12th), Seth Bernthal (14th), Josh Pfeiffer (16th), Sam Pfeiffer (18th), William Sydow and Katie Kloke (19th). We had 6 runners set new season-best times today: Becky Noeldner, Drew Eichstadt, Zander Johnson, Sam Pfeiffer, William Sydow, and Seth Bernthal. Last night, our very own Grant Bernthal was honored as #1 Broadcaster. The varsity girls wore special shirts in his honor to thank him for his four years of dedicated service. We are very thankful to Grant for all of his time and effort, miles traveled, times he lost his voice… and for always positively representing our school in every season. Thank you, Grant!!
