Volleyball Report – In a tournament hosted by Eau Claire Memorial, but played at UWEC’s McPhee Center, the Lancers took 4th place out of 8 teams, going 1-3 on the day.
In pool play, the Lancers lost to Altoona (22-25, 20-25), then defeated St. Ambrose Academy (25-22, 25-23), before falling to Holmen (18-25, 22-25). After a three-way tie at 1-2 in pool play (Altoona beat Immanuel, Immanuel beat St. Ambrose, St. Ambrose beat Altoona), the Lancers won the tie breaker to take 2nd place in the pool.
In bracket play, the Lancers matched up against the 2nd place team from the other pool, EC Memorial, and fell just short in three sets (25-19, 22-25, 16-18).

XC Report – Our team ran against several larger Division 2 schools on the wooded trails at Tower Ridge. Even against the tough competition, we still had three runners earn medals: Becky Noeldner (2nd), Dulton Eberhardt (13th), and Simeon Schaller (15th). Simeon also posted a season-best time, along with Jacob Schmid. Complete results are posted at https://wi.milesplit.com/meets/709664-altoona-invitational-2025/results.
