So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Instead, join with me in suffering for the gospel while relying on the power of God. – 2 Timothy 1:8

Volunteers Needed  (Community Service / Once Upon a Prom hours?!?) We’re hosting the annual Gradeschool Basketball Tournament here at ILC, and we need volunteers! Please sign up at the links below, or contact Steve Sydow ( steve.sydow@ilc.edu) to volunteer. Share this information with anyone you think may be willing and able to help out – we rely on volunteers to make this tournament work!

  • Referees – we only need two referees per game, but have room for three if a 3-person crew wants to do a game together, or if someone isn’t quite sure and would like to try it by working with two other veterans.
  • Scoreboard/Clock – if you’re willing to help run the scoreboard but aren’t sure how to run it, sign up and let Steve know. He will make sure someone experienced is there to provide training and help you.
  • Scorebook – like last year, the home team for each game is to provide the bookkeeper. If you’d like to help out in this way, let your team’s coach know.
  • Video – please sign up here to help out, but only if you have been checked out on the equipment.

Any questions – contact me at steve.sydow@ilc.edu.

Traveling VBS is a program of the CLC Mission Board which connects willing kingdom workers with CLC congregations across the United States in need of helping hands. Eight congregations have already reached out for help so far!  There are a variety of ways you can serve: teacher, recess or craft help, local canvassing, etc. Congregation members are delighted to host you for the week and show you local attractions on your downtime. The TVBS program covers your travel expenses. You could volunteer on your own, together with a friend, or accept the challenge as a family mission adventure. E-mail pastor_daub@hotmail.com for more information!

Lost & Found: Have you lost lunch tickets? If so, come to the office and describe where/when/what you have lost and we’ll see if we can match you up with what has been turned in.
