Visitors Day Committee meeting is scheduled for tonight at 6:30 PM.
Come to school tomorrow (Thursday) ready to make your campus beautiful! Students should assemble in the gym for chapel at 8:00 a.m. Please dress in work clothes. Dress code is still in effect. Attendance is required. There will be a cookout for lunch that is free for all students as well as a mid-morning snack. Work diligently and everything will be completed with plenty of time for any extracurricular activities scheduled for later in the day. Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. (Wednesday 15th) No evening study hall, No evening chapel, Off-campus free night, High school dorm students must be back in the dorms by 9:50 p.m, All sign-out and sign-in procedures apply

Workshop Seminar @ Messiah – On Sunday, April 19th, a seminar focusing on the War on Genders and Sexuality will be presented at Messiah in Eau Claire from 2:00 – 4:30 PM. Pastor Neal Radichel and Matthew Starland will go over the Biblical and Human Perspective on the matter, and answer questions like “Where are we at as a culture?” and “How do we discuss this topic with others?” Sign up here if you want a ride to the event.

Evening Chapel Time Change – This Sunday, April 19, the time of evening chapel will move from 7:40 PM to 7:10 PM.
Spring Sports Pictures will be taken TODAY (4/15), starting at 3 PM behind the gym. Come with a smile and a clean uniform! Parents of athletes, please check your emails for the order form that was sent out yesterday.
Baseball Report – Derek Wales pitched a complete game shutout against Eleva-Strum today, scattering 4 hits, while striking out 11. The Lancers opened up the scoring in the sixth inning with 4 runs, two driven in by Jake Zimmerman on a double. Cam Nelson and Kayden Lillo had the other RBIs. The game ended on a double play off a line drive catch by Wales. Final score 4-0. The Lancer’s record is now 4-0 and play next on Friday at Whitehall.
Softball Report – Both pitchers were strong in the circle on Tuesday, but the Lancers defeated the Eleva-Strum Cardinals 2-1. Mykah Mueller laid down a sacrifice bunt, which scored Gabi Radichel and tied the game at one in the top of the fifth. The game was tied until the top of the eleventh when an error on Katy Rosendahl’s bunt scored Mueller from 3rd base. Mueller led the team with one run batted in and two stolen bases. Rachel Kazemba allowed only two hits, striking out eight and walking none. The softball team has a record of 1-3, and will travel to Whitehall on Friday for it’s next game.
Track and Field Report – Our track team was at Eleva-Strum again for our second meet of the year, this time against 7 teams. As a team, our girls came in 4th and our boys finished 3rd. Today our relays stole the show, with 3 first place finishes: the girls 4x100M (Evalin Hammett, Alex Noeldner, Becky Noeldner, & Gwyneth Gurgel), the boys 4x100M (Reis Levandoski, Tanner Havemeier, Ian Levandoski, & Michael Lang), and our mixed 4×800 (Grace LeDuc, Margaret Schaller, William Sydow, & Dulton Eberhardt). Our boys 4×400 also came away with second place (Michael, Sam Pfeiffer, William, & Dulton). Other first place finishers today were Grace LeDuc (800M), Dulton Eberhardt (800M), and Michael Lang (high jump). Earning second place: Ashtyn Barthels (discus), Alex Noeldner (300 hurdles), Becky Noeldner (100 hurdles), and Tanner (triple jump). In third place were Miley Eberhardt (shot put), Gwyneth (400M), Becky (long jump), Ian (100M), Reis (110 hurdles & long jump), Josh Pfeiffer (3200M), & William (800M). Setting new personal records today were Ashtyn (discus), Gwyneth (400M & 200M), Alex (100 hurdles), Becky (long jump), Lizzie Stearns (shot put), Jenna Ude (400M), Ayden Anderson (200M), Thomas Carstensen (400M), Landon Hamilton (discus), Reis (110 hurdles & long jump), Carter Martin (shot put), and Josh Noeldner (200M).

Join Pastor Daub after school today for Costco pizza and a Traveling VBS info session in the Commons Lounge. He will reveal this summer’s locations and start pairing willing workers with exciting mission fields. Both high school and college students are welcome. Please come even if you have no intention of helping this summer but just want to learn more. Let Ellie or Alek know if you plan on stopping by so we can be sure to have enough pizza.
