With our hands our hearts to raise in unfailing prayer and praise.

They are taking orders now for short and long sleeved cotton T-shirts for $9.50 and $12.00, respectively. If you would like one, contact Daniel Hein at danihein@ilc.edu with the type of shirt and size you want, and your name. The deadline to sign up is May 6 so they can be delivered by graduation.

No Food in the AC! In recent days, there have been reports of students eating in the AC before or during class, as well as drinking coffee in various rooms. By now, everyone should know that this is against the rules. Our Handbook states on Page 12: “No food, candy, or open beverages other than water are permitted anywhere in the Academic Center, except for its entryways.” Please note: Moving forward, each case of breaking these rules will result in a 90-minute detention. Our AC is a beautiful building. Please help keep it that way. Thank you for your compliance.

Adults – Help Needed!! The Immanuel Athletic Boosters (IAB) regularly staffs security at the Blue Ox music festival each summer. The money earned goes toward purchases for the ILHS sports teams. Volunteers are needed right now because the spots are about to be offered to other groups and we will miss this great earning potential. The Blue Ox event is quite low-key, and your parking and entrance is free when you work a shift at a gate. Please contact Tom Beekman at thomasbeekman1961@gmail.com or 715-491-2025 to volunteer or for more information.

Track & Field Report: Our track team survived another cold & blustery day at Boyceville – out of seven teams our girls finished 4th and our boys 6th. With a strong headwind on the backstretch of the track slowing everyone down, we didn’t have any PRs on races over 200M, but 8 of our 17 athletes still managed it in at least one event.

Highlights from the meet include: First place finishes by Audrey Arndt (100M* & 200M), Riley Naumann (100 hurdles), & Micah Fossum (3200M). Grabbing second place were Audrey (100 hurdles* & long jump), Cainnin Lone (110 hurdles*), and our 4×100 relay team (Jesse Cornish, Paul Frank, Micah, & Caleb Arndt). Third place winners were Sophia Carstensen (high jump), Riley (200M*) & Micah (1600M).

Along with those * above, other PR’s were set by Joel Bernthal (discus), Paul Frank (100M & 200M), Tyler Gallaher (100M & 200M), and Jacob Lillo (shot put & discus). Complete results are available online. We also have another new school record this season: Audrey Arndt’s time in the 100M of 12.98 beat the previous ILHS record set by Abi Bernthal in 2014.
