Yesterday’s Sports Report: Varsity Baseball…Lancers 5, Eleva-Strum Cardinals 1. Jonah Mueller got the win and then made a spectacular diving catch in center field to help preserve that win. Britten Rutz recorded the save.
Varsity Softball…Lancers won both games of a DH…17-0 and 17-1 against the Cardinals.
In a back-and-forth game, the Lancer JV baseball team hung on for a 15-12 win over Osseo-Fairchild, a team that handed us our first game loss 10-2.
Our small Track & Field team battled the cold and wind at Eleva-Strum. With 4 girls and 9 boys competing, the girls and boys both finished 3rd out of 3 teams.
First place finishers were Lydia Kettner (400M & long jump*), Marisa Konshak (high jump), Riley Naumann (100 hurdles & 200M), Suraya Williams (100M), Mason Garvens (Discus*), and Cainnin Lone (110 hurdles*).
In addition to the ones (*) above, the following set a new person best: Suraya (100 hurdles), Mason (shot put), Ben Haslett (1600M), and Jacob Lillo (shot put & Discus).
Seniors – Most of you did not pick up your gift at the After Banquet party. Please come to the office to claim it.

Senior Class Trip on Wednesday!
Ascension Day service on Thursday at 6:30 pm. Instead of attending our normal 7:40 pm chapel, dorm students will assemble in the AC Library to watch the 6:30 pm Ascension service live-streamed by Messiah Lutheran. Mr. Steve Sydow will provide an Ascension devotion in the gym on Thursday at 3:00 pm for those students participating in softball, baseball, or track. Students who may be working Thursday evening are urged to watch the recorded video of the Messiah Ascension service available on the Messiah website. If you have any questions, please contact your dorm parents or Prof. Weis.

Varsity Boys’ Basketball Party – This year’s party will be held at the Zimmerman’s house on Sunday, May 16, from 5:00-7:00 pm. If you need transportation, please contact Prof Lau.
Student Council Meeting – The last Student Council meeting of the school year will be held in AC 122 at 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 16. Dorm students will need to get a pass to attend. It should not take longer than 30 minutes.
Basketball Camp sign up is available here on the ILC website. This is for grades 5-12 and will be held at Immanuel from Friday, June 11th – Sunday, June 13. Cost is $30 and the sign up deadline is July 1st.
