New Dorm Supervisors Hired: From President Schierenbeck-

“I am happy to announce that we have hired supervisors for both dorms.

For the girls’ dorm, we have hired Jacqueline (Jaqi) Bredehoft (nee Gerbitz). Jaqi is a 2017 ILHS graduate originally from Hales Corners. She has since received a pre-architecture degree (2 yr) from the Univ. of Minnesota. She also served in the MN National Guard. She will be joined here with her husband, Jake, and their baby, Charlotte.

For the boys’ dorm, we have hired Henry Lau. Henry is a 2018 ILHS graduate originally from Eau Claire. He also earned a B.A. in Pre-Theology from ILC in 2022. He is currently employed as a truck driver for Indianhead Foods and has also driven school bus (and the Eau Claire Trolley!).

We are thankful that the LORD has blessed us with willing and capable individuals to serve our school and our students in this very important capacity. Please keep them and their family in your prayers as they take on this new responsibility.

We are also very thankful for Paul and Courtney’s service as dorm parents for the last three years. They and their daughters will definitely be missed on campus, but we ask the LORD’s blessings on their new roles, with Paul serving our two congregations in upper Michigan.”

Help Needed: God’s Kids Bible Camp is in serious need of a male director between the ages of 18 to early 20’s to manage day-to-day operations at camp. Messiah sponsors this camp each year to provide local children ages 7-11 a Christ-centered summer camp experience FREE of charge. The camp includes twice-daily Bible studies, swimming, boating, campfires, and more. God’s Kids Bible Camp is scheduled June 23rd to 26th. Those interested are asked to contact planning committee coordinator Anne Vaver (715-456-3418) or Pastor Caleb Schaller (715-577-6199).
