School News 5/2/25

Since our God, whom we serve, does exist, he is able to save us from the blazing fiery furnace. So, he may save us from your hand, Your Majesty. But if he does not, you should know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods, and we will not worship the golden statue that you set up. – Daniel 3:17-18

State Solo & Ensemble Festival: Immanuel’s students will be at the UWEC, using Centennial Hall for the vocal events and Haas Fine Arts Center for the instrumental events this Saturday.  The two buildings are not on the same side of the river. Taking the footbridge to cross the river takes about 8 minutes–door to door. Driving and re-parking also takes about 8 minutes. Events are free and open to friends and family.

Students should be in their building 45 minutes before performing. Each building has an information table, so you can find the warm-up rooms and see where your site will be located. Please be outside your room 10 minutes before you perform. As with the district round, times may vary. Campus maps, driving directions, full schedule, etc. can be found here.
