Banquet is today!! School will dismiss for the day at the 12:05pm bell. Lunch will be served to those who signed up. Gather outside Ingram for pictures beginning at 4:30 pm, and you can also take photos at Florian Gardens between 5:00-6:00. Banquet begins at 6:00 pm. If you haven’t paid for your ticket you won’t get in. Everyone is welcome at the After Banquet party in the gym tonight to eat food and play games for some *sweet* prizes! (I know – I’ve seen them!). Be sure to have all driving/riding permissions cleared and know your dorm/curfew time for the night!
Senior Girls meet in Ingram at 4:00pm for pictures (if you want to).
State Solo & Ensemble contest: You are welcome to watch the performances of our ILHS musicians, as they play at the state level this Saturday (tomorrow!). They are playing some very challenging music very well! Arrive 30 minutes before the performance time so as not to miss them.

Parking: Park in any available ‘F’, ‘S’, ‘G’, ‘F/S’ or ‘R’ designated parking stalls. No university permit is required. Lots designated as “AMP timed parking” require payment 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and can be purchased through the app “AMP Park” or at www.aimsmobilepay.com. Watch for signage at the entrance to parking lots and within the parking lots, designating stall types. Do not park in loading/unloading areas and please allow buses to move without waiting.
AP Calc Test will be held Monday at 8:00am.

Lost & Found: A sum of money, a bead bracelet (planets?), and a shell bracelet have been turned in to the office. If they are yours, stop by to claim them.
Basketball T-shirt Order: The boys varsity basketball team has put together a t-shirt order to commemorate their conference championship. They are taking orders now for short and long sleeved cotton T-shirts for $9.50 and $12.00, respectively. If you would like one, contact Daniel Hein at danihein@ilc.edu with the type of shirt and size you want, and your name. The deadline to sign up is today so they can be delivered by graduation. Payment can be made to the office.
| Track Report: After spending the day cleaning up the campus for Arbor Day, our track team enjoyed the nice weather for our meet in Whitehall. This meet pitted us against all the other 9 teams in the Dairyland conference, so it provided a nice preview of the Conference meet next Thursday. Our students didn’t seem worn out by all the raking they did: 5 out of the 11 members of our boys team set a new PR in at least one event. And for our girls team, all 6 set a new PR in at least one event – and 5 of them in at least two!
Those winning medals today for first place: Audrey Arndt (100M*) & Riley Naumann (100 hurdles). Second place finishers were Audrey (200M*, 100 hurdles* & long jump) & Laura Schaller (1600M*). Grabbing the bronze were Sophia Carstensen (high jump & long jump*), Riley (200M*), Cainnin Lone (110 hurdles*), and our 4×100 relay team (Jesse Cornish, Paul Frank, Micah, & Caleb Arndt). Along with those * above, other PR’s were set by Sophia (100 hurdles), Lydia Lau (100M & shot put), Laura (800M), Salome Seibel (800M & 1600M), Joel Bernthal (shot put), Jesse Cornish (triple jump), Jacob Lillo (shot put), & Cainnin (long jump). Unfortunately the results have not been posted online. We’ve got two meets up next week: we’re at Mondovi on Tuesday, then the Dairyland Conference Meet at Independence on Thursday. |
