CC Report: Our runners faced one of the toughest courses of the season at Fall Creek High School. While the first mile of the course is relatively level, almost the entire second mile is uphill, which leads to slower overall times. Because of this, no one set new personal best times, but all returning runners beat their times on this course from last year. And all the hill training we’ve been doing paid off, as our boys stuck it out and placed second out of 6 teams, our best finish of the year so far! We had two medalists today: Micah Fossum placed 5th and Logan Thompson 15th (his first medal of his career). Complete results are available at the same website as the last meet:https://hotweyered.com/?page_id=2939.Our next meet is at Augusta on Thursday (9/14). Please note that meet is NOT at the high school, but at a park in town at 136 Klingman St, Augusta. |
