Chapel Speaker: Pastor Chad Sebyt is our guest speaker for chapel today. He is the pastor at four congregations in Fairchild, Melrose, Millston, and Onalaska WI. He previously served other congregations both as a pastor and as a teacher.

| Cross Country Report: The word for today’s course was “serpentine:” it wound back and forth around the park with many S-curves and hairpins. These challenged our runners, but they took advantage of the flat terrain and had our most successful outing so far this season: 14 out of 15 runners posted season-best times, and our boys took second place, only 1 point behind the winning team!! We also had 5 runners win medals today: Micah Fossum (2nd), Logan Thompson (5th), Christian Koenig (7th), Katie Kloke (4th) and Laura Schaller (5th).This was one of our smallest meets of the year (only six teams), while next weeks’ meets are some of our largest: on Tuesday we face 21 teams at Cadott, and Thursday it’s 23 teams at Durand. |

JV Tournament this Saturday: McDonell is hosting at Chi Hi in the back gym (enter under the cardinal). First match begins at 9:00am. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. This is a round robin format, best of three, third game to 15. ILHS plays rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4. Each team must provide one line judge for each match. Concessions will not be available; teams should bring their own food.
Varsity Tournament this Saturday: McDonell is hosting at McDonell High School. The first match begins at 9:00am. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. This is a round robin format, best of three, third game to 15. ILHS plays rounds 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7. Each team must provide one line judge for each match. Concessions will be available and no carry-ins are allowed.
