Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world – Philippians 2:14-15

CC Report ? The Lancers cross-country team opened the season at Cochrane-Fountain City HS against some tough (mostly D2) competition. Top finishers were Andrew Lau for the boys (7th) and Laura Schaller for the girls (26th). Even though it was a tough, hilly course, 9 out of our 10 runners set new personal best times! What a way to start the season!

Leave It Better (LIB) Meeting: If you’d like to be involved in LIB’s projects, come to this short organizational meeting today at 12:45 pm, and we’ll also discuss one immediate project. Stop by and BRING A FRIEND!

Leave It Better (LIB) is a group of students, faculty, staff, and alumni who are dedicated to restoring and improving our campus. After receiving so much from our time at Immanuel we just want to try to give back. (Check out some of our previous projects here.)

Lost & Found: Stop by the office to check the Lost & Found items before they are donated! Anything can be yours for just 25¢!

Fill out the Survey! If you haven’t already answered this very short survey about your whereabouts this weekend, do that now, please!

Help Wanted: All three volleyball teams are in need of bookkeepers for this season. Training will be provided. Perks include free admission to all away games, guaranteed transportation there and back, activity points, and the gratefulness of the players and coaches. If you think you might be interested, please talk to Prof Lau soon.

Messiah Church Picnic Invitation: The Messiah church picnic this Sunday, September 5th at Mt. Simon will be the only meal provided for lunch on campus that day. It will be a grilled brats and potluck food meal. Mount Simon has disc golf and sand volleyball available and is usually a good time. We can also bring along Spike Ball, Kubb, and the other games we have on campus. Rides to Mr. Simon will be provided but we need to know how many to plan rides and brats and fixings for so fill out the form you were sent by Kitara. All students should fill this form out to help with planning. (Obviously townies can ride to the picnic with their family. 🙂 ) Hope to see you there.
