School News 9/8/25

Monday, September 8th, 2025

Oh, to see my name
Written in the wounds,
For through Your suffering I am free.
Death is crushed to death,
Life is mine to live,
Won through Your selfless love.

This, the power of the cross:
Son of God, slain for us.
What a love! What a cost!
We stand forgiven at the cross.

Newcomers’ Party –  this Friday at 8 PM will be the annual Newcomers’ Party. It’s always a fun time and a great way to get to know the new students!

Friends of the Immanuel Forest – This weekend, the FOTF Effort will be taking place here on campus. An email was sent out last week with the info for that, but here is the main idea: What is being asked? Your job would be to drag cut down trees and branches from the areas in the woods bordering the trails to the wood chipper located on the trail. That’s it! Long pants and sleeves would be advised and if you have gloves, bring them; if not, gloves will be provided. Ear protection will also be provided. Adults will be operating chainsaws and the chipper. It will be a long day but we need to provide a steady stream of help to keep the day moving. Come when you can. THIS FIRST EFFORT WILL BE SEPTEMBER 13-14, FROM 8:30-4:30 EACH DAY.
