ANNOUNCEMENTS
Cross Country Report: Our first race of the year was on a tough course against some of the best teams around, but our runners came out strong and put up some good times to start the year. The boys team came in 8th out of 14 complete teams. We only have 2 girls, so no team score. No new personal bests, but that’s normal for a first meet, especially on this course. But every one of our runners beat their time on this same course from last year!
Spain Trip Want to go to Spain this summer? Stop by AC123 Friday at 12:45 p.m. for a brief informational meeting. Talk to Prof. Gullerud if you are interested but can’t make it to the meeting.
Gym in Use Messiah will be using the gym for volleyball practice on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Do you need a dress for Formal Dinner? Once Upon a Prom is hosting a fundraiser at Plato’s Closet this Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Shop from over 200 dresses – for only $20 each!
Banquet Bake Sale Bring some cash to the first volleyball home game next Tuesday and help raise money for this year’s Banquet by buying delicious home-baked goodies.
Newcomers Party Next Friday, 9/13, the Newcomers Party will be held beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the gym. Everyone is welcome; new students are our special guests. If you are willing to donate snacks for the night contact Jillian Gamble.
