Chapel Time Change! Evening Chapel begins at 7:00pm in order to allow Theater rehearsal time for their production this weekend.

Adults – Help Needed!! The Immanuel Athletic Boosters (IAB) regularly staffs security at the Blue Ox music festival each summer. The money earned goes toward purchases for the ILHS sports teams. Volunteers are needed right now because the spots are about to be offered to other groups and we will miss this great earning potential. The Blue Ox event is quite low-key and your parking and entrance is free when you work a shift at a gate. Banquet Tickets: Banquet committee is going to have a table set up during lunch everyday this week for you to come and buy your tickets. Tickets are $10 per person. If you are bringing somebody from another school, you need to pay for your ticket and theirs. Everyone needs to pay before banquet or we will NOT let you in. We will be keeping track of who pays.
Student Performance Sign Up: Saturday night before the play on April 30th we are once again looking for students to share their talents with the audience starting at 7:00 pm. This could be a solo or group performance. Please fill out this Google Form if you are interested in performing.
It’s Visitor’s Day this weekend! Be ready to be welcoming and helpful to our guests. Here’s the schedule:

Track & Field Report: It was cold and windy for our third meet of the year, but with only 3 teams, there was not much waiting around! Both our boys and girls teams came in second out of 3 teams. Our athletes once again demonstrated their ability to deal with the conditions: 13 out of our 18 athletes set a new personal record (PR) in at least one event.
Our highest scorers included: First place finishes by Audrey Arndt (100M*, 200M & Long Jump*), Riley Naumann (100 hurdles), & Caleb Arndt (200M, 400M*, & Long Jump*), Second place went to Sophia Carstensen (high jump*), Riley (200M), Micah Fossum (3200M*), Paul Frank (200M) & Luke Strike (400M). Third place finishers: Audrey (100 hurdles*), Sophia (long jump*) George Carstensen (800M), Jesse Cornish (400M & triple jump*), Micah (1600M*), Jacob Lillo (discus).
Along with those * above, other PR’s were set by Sophia in the 100M & 100 hurdles, Lydia Lau in the 100M & discus, Laura Schaller in the 800M & 1600M, Joel Bernthal in the shot put, George Carstensen in the triple jump, Paul Frank in the shot put, Tyler Gallaher in the 100M & long jump, Cainnin Lone in the 100 hurdles, and Luke Strike in the 200M. I neglected to mention after our last meet that our 4×100 relay team, made up of Jesse, Micah, Paul & Caleb, broke the previous school record set in 2018 by Ben Oster, Mason Garvens, Zach Strike & Sam Radermacher. And Audrey Arndt’s time of 27.15 in the 200M last Thursday beat the previous school record of 27.81 set by Kayla Barthels in 2016. Today, Caleb’s long jump of 19’-0” beat the previous school record of 18’-4”, set by Calvin Ryan in 2016, and Laura Schaller’s time for the 800M beat the previous record set by Marnie Schaller in 2019. Way to go Lancers!
