School News 4/28/22

Still the greatness of Thy love daily doth our sins remove;
Daily, far as east from west, lifts the burden from the breast;
Gives unbought, to those who pray strength to stand in evil day.

Banquet Tickets: Banquet committee is going to have a table set up during lunch everyday this week for you to come and buy your tickets. Tickets are $10 per person. If you are bringing somebody from another school, you need to pay for your ticket and theirs. Everyone needs to pay before banquet or we will NOT let you in. We will be keeping track of who pays.

Seniors- All Hands on Deck: The senior class is the committee for setting up the gym for Visitors’ Day right after evening Chapel.

Chapel Time Change! Evening Chapel begins at 7:00pm in order to allow Theater rehearsal time for their production this weekend.

Need a Ride? Please sign up using THIS LINK if you need a ride to Messiah this weekend. You have three options: 1) Saturday evening worship, 2) Sunday morning worship, 3) Sunday morning worship and stay for Young Adult Bible Study.

Last Call for the Photography Contest  Entries must be submitted by tomorrow! The theme is “Action Shots!” Photographs may be taken on any camera. Submissions should be original photographs, taken by the person submitting the entry. First, second, and third place photographs will be chosen. Limit three entries per person. The First Place photograph will be printed on canvas to be permanently displayed in the Academic Center at ILC. Email your photographs to Mrs. Gurgel at Include your name and graduating class year in your email.

Adults – Help Needed!! The Immanuel Athletic Boosters (IAB) regularly staffs security at the Blue Ox music festival each summer. The money earned goes toward purchases for the ILHS sports teams. Volunteers are needed right now because the spots are about to be offered to other groups and we will miss this great earning potential. The Blue Ox event is quite low-key and your parking and entrance is free when you work a shift at a gate. Please contact Tom Beekman at or 715-491-2025 to volunteer or for more information.

Student Performance Sign Up: Saturday night before the play on April 30th we are once again looking for students to share their talents with the audience starting at 7:00 pm. This could be a solo or group performance. Please fill out this Google Form if you are interested in performing.
