Activities Committee Meeting today at 12:45pm in AC111. If you’d like to be involved in planning the student activities that happen throughout the year, come to this meeting!

Intro to Engineering Design: Meet in AC130 today.

Soccer Meeting Today  If you’re interested in playing soccer this fall, come to AC122 at 3:00pm today for a brief meeting. Previous experience not required.

Volleyball Tryouts are today and tomorrow. Tryout for Varsity both days from 3:00 to 4:30pm. Tryout for JV both days from 4:30-6:00pm. BRING WATER!! It will be hot in the gym this week.

Evening Chapel will be held in the gym on Sunday-Thursday nights at 7:40pm. Dorm students must attend, and anyone else on campus at that time is invited and encouraged to join them.

9th and 10th Girls’ PE: You do not have to change clothes for your first class this week. Please congregate on the bleachers nearest the organ room.

Interested in Playing Softball? A brief organizational meeting for everyone even considering playing softball in Spring 2025. It will be held on Tuesday, August 27th at 6:30pm in the Girls Locker Room. The purpose of this meeting is to identify experienced new students for the Gators fall club softball team, provide organizational information for Fall Ball, and provide information on opportunities for pitching, hitting and fielding clinics that can be arranged during the off-season and pre-season for inexperienced players or returning players that wish to sharpen their skills. Please bring your phones as we will be making sure everyone is set up in the GameChanger app for Fall Ball and off/pre season clinic communications!

Leave it Better (LiB) meeting on Wednesday at 12:45pm in AC111. If you’d like to help with projects that beautify, add to, and clean up your campus- this is the meeting for you!

Class Schedules are available on the credenza outside the office, and in your Gradelink app. Login credentials for Gradelink have been emailed to you. Talk to Mrs. Schaller at the front desk or Prof. Roehl if you can’t get in.

Morning Chapel Speakers: The full-time staff that present morning chapel are: Paul Naumann, David Schaller, Dan Schierenbeck, Steve Sippert, Matthew Thurow, John Ude, and Mark Weis. Staff members who also contribute chapels are Steve Sydow and Paul Schaller. An attempt will be made to mention in the Daily Bulletin other speakers the first time they share chapel this semester.

Pastor emeritus Walt Schaller is our guest speaker for chapel today. He was a pastor in a number of our CLC congregations and served for a time as “Missionary at Large for domestic Missions.” Pastor Caleb Schaller at Messiah is one of his sons.
