| Track & Field Report: We give thanks to our Lord for keeping us all safe from the severe weather that came through the area. Despite an hour+ delay, we ended up having clear but very windy conditions for the Dairyland Conference meet at Whitehall HS. Out of 11 teams in our conference, our girls finished 5th, and our boys 4th.
The top two finishers in each event won all-conference honors, so congratulations to our All Dairyland Conference Athletes: First Team All-Conference: Audrey Arndt (100M, 200M, 100 hurdles), Logan Thompson (1600M, 3200M); and our boys 4×100 relay team: Tyler Gallaher, Tanner Havemeier, Ian Levandoski, and Jesse Cornish. Second Team All-Conference: Audrey (long jump) and Jesse Cornish (100M). We had a number of athletes just barely miss making all conference, placing third in their events: Grace LeDuc (400M), Jesse (200M), Dulton Eberhardt (800M) and Michael Lang (high jump). Due to the windy conditions, no one set any new personal records (PRs) for anything running around the track, but we still had a few: Evalin Hammett (100M), Jesse (100M), Alek Daub (shot put), Tanner (triple jump), Reis Levandoski (110 hurdles), and Sam Pfeiffer (110 hurdles). This concludes our regular season. We’re done until after graduation, when we compete in the WIAA Regional meet on May 27 at Mondovi. Complete results are available at https://pttiming.com/event. |
