Welcome back to classes, College students!
High School countdown: 5 days
Congratulations to Joel Kuehne for being accepted (by audition in February) to the Wisconsin State Music Association’s High School Honors Band! The band will hold a 4 day camp in June and perform in the Ovations Center in Madison, WI in October. Joel was selected from 44 students across the state to be one of 8 french horns in this year’s Honors Band.
We also want to congratulate the players who were selected to the 2019-2020 Dairyland All-Conference teams in basketball. Thank you to the whole team for your support!
Boys 1st Team – Ryan Zimmerman
Boys 2nd Team – Ben Oster
Girls 2nd Team – Emma Miller
We also want to congratulate Ryan and Ben on their selections to the Leader-Telegram 2020 All-City basketball teams, Ryan to 1st Level, and Ben to 2nd Level. Ryan also received an Honorable Mention selection to the WBCA 2020 Division 5 All-State team. Emma received a Special Mention on the 2020 All-Northwest team. The boys All-Northwest team selections and girls All-City team selections will probably be announced this weekend.
~ School Year Schedule Change: The faculty has decided to use April 13 to regain one of our many lost days. This is the Monday after Easter. The academic calendar for AY20 has it as a day off. This decision is reversing that. Good Friday, April 10, will still be a day off for all three departments. Monday, April 13, will be a day off only for the seminary. Online classes will be held for high school and college on Monday, April 13.
~ Campus and all buildings are closed. You can see the Campus Access policy here.
~ Chapel Addresses are back online each weekday! Use them to start your homeschool day or for personal and family Bible study, and share them! Go here.
~ Students, please monitor your ilc.edu email addresses for communications from your professors. You will have received many communications from your professors by now. Stay in touch through email and Google Classroom/Hangouts!
