|WORDS FROM OUR LORD FOR TODAY|
“We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!” – Matthew 20:18-19
Welcome back to classes, College students!
High School countdown: 4 days
~ Classes Next Week: High School and college classes next week will happen Apr. 6-9 (Monday-Thursday) in line with the normal daily schedule. This means that Thursday afternoon classes for 6th-8th hour will also take place (except band and choir). There will be no classes on Good Friday, April 10.
~ Cancelled Events: Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, all ILC academic calendar events for May 1-2 are cancelled. These include ILHS Visitors’ Day, the May 1 band concert, the May 2 student performances, and the Jungle Book theater performances of May 1-2.
~ School Year Schedule Change: The faculty has decided to use April 13 to regain one of our many lost days. This is the Monday after Easter. The academic calendar for AY20 has it as a day off. This decision is reversing that. Good Friday, April 10, will still be a day off for all three departments. Monday, April 13, will be a day off only for the seminary. Online classes will be held for high school and college on Monday, April 13.
~ Campus and all buildings are closed. You can see the Campus Access policy here.
~ Chapel Addresses are back online each weekday! Use them to start your homeschool day or for personal and family Bible study, and share them! Go here.
~ Students, please monitor your ilc.edu email addresses for communications from your professors. You will have received many communications from your professors by now. Stay in touch through email and Google Classroom/Hangouts!
