Annual Corn Maze outing The Activities Committee has planned a Corn Maze Outing to Leffel Roots Apple Orchard this Friday at 6:30pm. http://leffelroots.com/ Besides a 10-acre corn maze with a game theme and contest, Leffel’s offers a variety of food. Please fill out the survey in your email so they can be prepared for our group. Cost for the outing is $3/person (normally $7 but the Activities Committee is covering the rest). You will need to pay at the bus in order to get on. If you drive/ride separately and do not pay in advance, you will need to pay the full $7 once you arrive!
Sectional CC Meet: Come out on Saturday to support our runners at the WIAA Sectional meet in Cadott! The boys run at 11:00am with the girls following at 11:45am.  You can pre-purchase tickets at the ILC business office or purchase them at the gate. Cost is $8 for adults, students and children are free.  Please note that only limited handicap parking will be allowed at Whispering Pines Golf Course; spectators are asked to park at Cadott HS or Elementary school and take the free shuttles from there.
What: Volleyball Hitting Clinic

When: Sunday, October 22, from 2:00-4:00 pm

Where: Immanuel Gym

Who: Varsity and JV Hitters (C-Team with permission)

Why: Specific training from those who know what they are talking about (ILHS Alumni)

Solar System Scale Model: The SCI101 class has constructed a scale model of the solar system. Both planet sizes and distances are correctly scaled to be 10 billion times smaller than actual.  To take your ‘walk through the solar system’, start at the sign near the entrance of campus and follow down to the baseball field.  We will leave this out for a week or two.

 

Volleyball Open Gym  For the next two weeks, Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday from 4:30-5:45pm.

 

Volleyball Report: In the first round of volleyball regional play, the #4 Lancers defeated #13 Elmwood/Plum City on our home court 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-14).
Stats Leaders: Audrey Arndt – 11 kills (4 block kills); Cheyenne Wales – 3 aces, 8 kills (2 block kills); Gabi Radichel – 10 kills, 9 digs; Hannah Kazemba – 15 digs; Leah Thompson – 3 aces, 18 assists; Sophia Carstensen – 2 aces, 9 kills (4 block kills), 8 assists, 13 digsThe Lancers will face #5 Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Thursday.
