School News 4/14/23

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. – Colossians 3:12-13

Track & Field Report: The “Indee Relays” were a different kind of track meet that we’ve never done before: almost all of the races were run as relays and/or shuttle runs, with some different combinations of distances. It made for a nice change, and God granted us another beautiful day to enjoy it. Out of 11 teams, our girls finished 7th and the boys 6th.Our top scorers today included first place finishes by Audrey Arndt (long jump) and our girls 800M relay (Grace LeDuc, Becky Noeldner, & Laura Schaller). Two of our girls teams earned second place: the 3x100M shuttle (Audrey, Becky, & Grace ) and 800M Sprint Medley (Lydia Lau, Becky, Audrey & Grace). Third place finishers included Grace LeDuc (800M – new PR and school record), Titus Radichel (high jump – new PR), and our boys distance medley team (Micah Fossum, Caleb Arndt, Sam Pfeiffer, & George Carstensen),

Other individuals who also set new Personal Records today were Lydia (discus), Evalin Hammett (long jump), Sam (800M), George (triple jump), Jacob Lillo (shot put), and Levi Falkenberg (discus).

Complete results are available at We have the weekend to rest up until Tuesday when we’re back at Eleva-Strum HS.

Softball vs Eleva-Strum: Varsity won 10-0 in 6 innings. Hannah pitched all 6 innings, 15 strikeouts, 5 walks and gave up only 2 hits. Kenzie went 4/4 at DP – 2 singles, 1 double and a home run. Cheyenne went 2/4 with a triple and a home run.

JV got some excellent innings in, no stats for them.

Baseball vs Eleva-Strum: We lost 13-3 in 5. We actually played well most of the game. Carter Rutz suffered a hip injury in the first inning. Please pray for everything to be well with him.
