Track & Field Report:
Yesterday’s “True Team” meet in Augusta featured all 11 teams in the Dairyland conference, but was scored separately as two divisions (small and large). Out of the 5 teams in the Small Dairyland, our girls finished 4th while our boys came away with the first place trophy! This is the first trophy our track program has ever won! Even being late in the season, we still had 12 out of 27 athletes (and 2 relays) set new personal records (PRs) today: Ashtyn Barthels (discus & shot put), Alex Noeldner (100 hurdles), Becky Noeldner (800M), Margaret Schaller (800M), Thomas Carstensen (400M & discus), Alek Daub (discus), Tanner Havemeier (200M & triple jump), Michael Lang (high jump), Reis Levandoski (110 hurdles), Carter Martin (discus), Sam Pfeiffer (800M), William Sydow (400M & 800M), our girls 4×100 team (Evalin, Alex, Sophia, & Becky) and our boys 4×100 team (Tyler, Tanner, Ian & Jesse). Winning first place: Audrey Arndt (100M, 100 hurdles, & 200M), Sophia Carstensen (high jump), Jesse Cornish (100M), Dulton Eberhardt (800M), Logan Thompson (3200M), our boys 4×100 relay and 4×800 relay (William, Josh, Dulton, & Logan). Second place finishers: Audrey (long jump), Grace LeDuc (400M), Becky Noeldner (800M), Jesse (200M), Tanner Havemeier (triple jump), William Sydow (800M), and our girls 4×100 relay team. Taking third place: Becky (100 hurdles), Stefon Johnson (3200M), Michael (100M & high jump), Reis (110 hurdles), and Sam Pfeiffer (800M). |
